On numerous occasions, our team at Facebook TabSite has been asked the question, "How can we add the Facebook 'Share' button to my Fan Page?" when using TabSite or on a FBML page. So, we've decided to give a quick overview of the code needed to use this viral sharing Facebook tool.

Why use the Facebook 'Share' button on your Facebook TabSite?

The Faceook "Share" button is a great way to get users to interact with your Fan Page or Personal Profile page.  When a user clicks the "Share" button on your TabSite or custom Fan Page Tab they can post a comment, link to your page, and share it with all of their Facebook friends.   How cool and easy is that to spread a message! The Share Button is a great way to virally spread content from your Facebook Fan Page and to have a message that "keeps on giving and going!"

Below is the to code needed to add the "Share" button. 

You will need to replace the Facebook URL with your Facebook Fan Page URL, and then you'll be good to go!

Option 2

Another great use of a "Share" button is to add it to your website!  Facebook has a great tool that allows you some customization options and then gives you the exact code you need for your website. Here is the link: http://www.facebook.com/share/  Like Mamma always said its nice to "Share"! Share
