TabSite is pleased to announce the release of a new and upgraded YouTube Channel integration.

This new TabSite feature is part of our Drag N Build system.  Users with Silver and Gold TabSite plans have access to this new widget in the TabSite manager. 

It is together with the RSS Widget shown at right.

Key Features:

• Displays the first video in your channel on top, ready to play
  
• Allows you to set how many videos thumbnails to display beneath the featured video
  
• Keeps users on the fan page tab as the videos play right in the tab!
• Users can select one of the thumbnail videos and it becomes the featured video at the top, ready to play.

Here's a quick overview of the setup process:

We've created a Page in the TabSite manager with a graphic design and open body content area.  Now we are going to click and drag the YouTube Channel widget into our body area.

After we drag the YouTube Channel widget onto our page, our "Properties Box" opens to allow us to customize the widget. Enter your YouTube Channel name in the first field.

Here's the view after we entered our YouTube Channel username: DigitalHill

Once we have entered our YouTube channel and selected the number of YouTube videos we want to display on our page (in this case, 3), we can select "Accept" which closes the box and takes us back to our tab page.  Click the widget and drag a corner to resize to the width you want.  A special feature is that we automatically resize the featured video as you drag it, so it can be up to 520 pixels wide but as you see here we are fitting ours within our fan page tab design.

Finally, we chose "Save and Publish" to make the YouTube Channel live on our Digital Hill Fan Page:

This creates a integrated social experience on your fan page with your YouTube Channel!  Add training videos, service videos, welcome messages and more!  With the Gold Plan of TabSite you can enhance the social sharing capability by adding the Facebook "Like", "Share", and "Comments" Social Plug-ins!
